The Big Pink Shopathon! is a major new shopping event for 2019 to be held annually at the dreamily-beautiful Nailcote Hall Country House Hotel set in the heart of North Warwickshire.
The event brings the latest and best-quality classic and contemporary fashion and designer wear, accessories, jewellery, bags and shoes as well as stylish homewares and gifts to the heart of the prosperous Warwickshire countryside and Birmingham’s affluent suburban and rural fringe.
World famous as a golfing destination, Nailcote Hall with its Cromwell Course nominated for World’s Best Par 3 Golf Course for the second straight year, the Hotel, dating from 1640, was shortlisted for Best Golf Hotel at the World Golf Awards 2019.

Welcome to the Shopathon!
The Big Pink Shopathon is Nailcote Hall’s Late Autumn/Early-Winter shopping spectacular where carefully chosen stallholders offer exclusive but affordable stylish gifts, crafts and home decor items while a range of designer boutiques for him, her and the children will ensure that to whichever faith you adhere, your family will look their very best for the 2019 festive season.
Prices range from around £5 to megabucks as the fair offers something for everyone, whether you are seeking exclusive personal accessories or jewellery, a unique outfit just for you or an inexpensive but well-considered “thinking-of-you” gift for a friend or colleague.
Held under the personal patronage of Nailcote Hall’s chatelaine Sue Cressman with the assistance of her husband the notable West Midlands businessman and co owner Rick, the event will operate in support of breast cancer causes personally chosen by Sue. Many friends will know Sue is a breast cancer survivor and she is well known in the Birmingham and Warwickshire areas as a major fundraiser for cancer-related charities.
With a gala reception on the Wednesday evening and a feast of serious shopping and supporting charity happenings throughout the subsequent two days, The Big Pink is the place to be for quality retail therapy treatment and pampering in mid October.

The Big Pink Shopathon opens with a Gala Reception, Drinks and Shopping Preview on Wednesday 16th October 2019 (£30 single, £50 double ticket – proceeds to charity) with complementary drinks reception, celebrity guests, press call, live entertainment and charity auction (full programme to be published shortly) plus a goodybag containing vouchers and other benefits worth £150!
But the focus of the Gala Reception is that it provides exclusive early access to the Shopathon where keen fashionistas and serious shoppers can check out and buy clothes, accessories and home design items from our carefully chosen specialist international-quality vendors prior to it opening to the public on Thursday and Friday 17th and 18th October 2019. Tickets to the preview are limited so book early (see ticket sales) to avoid disappointment.
The Big Pink Shopathon
Open 17th October 10am – 6pm and 18th October 2019, 10am – 4.30pm, the Shopathon will be open selling a wide range of clothing, accessories, jewellery and designer homewares with a choice of quality unusual seasonal gifts for all the family.
Food and drinks and the hotel’s other services are available throughout the event. Admission on Thursday and Friday is free, but with a requested donation to charity of £5 adult, £1 children, £7.50 family/friends ticket (two adults and up to three children) which also entitles you to a 10% off food and drinks voucher.

Stall Pricing Information and Overview
The fair will be heavily publicised and advertised. In addition to paid advertising in all the regional glossy magazines and newspapers. Nailcote Hall owners Sue and Rick Cressman are very well connected in business and commerce circles across the region and have an unparalleled network network of media, charity, sporting, entertainment and retail contacts from which the fair will benefit both in social sharing, attendance and publicity and sponsorship from local supporting businesses.
The Big Pink Shopathon will be held inside a carpeted heated and lined marquee pavilion with electricity in a shell scheme. The cost of this fair is £65 per square metre for the entire event which includes the Wednesday evening preview and two days trading. There is no additional charitable donation on takings. We expect many types of stalls will benefit from the event, particularly clothing, jewellery, bags, accessories, creative gifts, design items, homewares and golfing/sporting goods and memorabilia.
Stalls are undertaken as part of a shell scheme. We can provide for most stall sizes. Minimum stall size 2 x 1 square metres. Half metres also available. Any format (including walk in) is possible. The Charitable element is made through admission charges and profits donation. No charitable percentage is payable on takings by stallholders. £75 deposit is required with your application to reserve your pitch, with the remaining balance of your stall-fee invoice payable by 7th September 2019. You will be invoiced for the event prior to request for payment.
You will be asked to complete a stall listing as a stallholder at our fairs. Stall Listings are free and attach you as a vendor to the fairs you attend. You do not need to be an online seller with us to have a stall listing. See a typical stall listing.
Demographic and Promotion
Sue and Rick Cresswell's local profile and social connections combined with Nailcote Hall's established customer base is likely to ensure that the 'Big Pink Gala Preview' on 16th October 2019 is a "must-attend" event for Birmingham's affluent business and commercial community, many of which live close to the venue.
Invitations will be distributed to all guests visiting the hall including the membership of the spa and golf resort and uses of the venue's business and conference centre.
Big Pink Fair customers for the duration of the event are expected to be predominantly affluent people from Nailcote Hall's excellent and established catchment around South Birmingham and North Warwickshire, including Leamington Spa, Warwick, Knowle, Solihull, Meriden and the many surrounding villages with a wider regional draw from the more affluent areas of Birmingham and Coventry. Many of Nailcote Hall's existing Spa and Golfing customers are expected to attend throughout the duration of the event.
The event will be heavily publicised and advertised throughout the region in glossy magazines as well as newspapers and online. Our specialist branding and marketing team will be running promotions and competitions under the Big Pink brand and charitable cause throughout the area in the run-up to the event for which the event will provide the conclusion in the awarding of prizes.

Stallholder Complimentary Tickets
We automatically issue stallholders with 50 complimentary Stallholder Guest e-tickets per event for distribution to your customers.
Refer a Stallholder Scheme
The better the stallholder group the better the event. Refer a quality new stallholder to us who is not on our e-list and if we accept a stall booking from them for this event or at a future event we will credit you £20.

Site and Facilities
The fair uses highest quality professionally-erected lined frame marquee with hard internal floor and carpet, roof lining, full power provision and heating which is connected to the hotel. Water is available. Assistance from stewards is available throughout the event. The internal build is a shell structure which can shaped and built to sizes and designs which meet individual stallholder requirements. The fair is well serviced through the excellent facilities at the hotel. Please note there are no cash machines on site or nearby so stallholders should have the equipment necessary to take card payments using our online Wifi. There is overnight security for the event.
Adequate power is provided for the use of most trading needs. Additional or exceptional power requirements must be specified. You must provide your own display lighting and any other electrical equipment required to meet your needs. All equipment will be checked as safe by our on-site electricians. Tables and chairs are available but must be ordered prior to the event as we do not carry a surplus.
Stallholder Parking and Accommodation
Discreet stallholder parking with overnight security and CCTV is located on site. Event load-in on morning of Wednesday 16th October will permit easy access to the trading area and porter assistance with trolleys will be available will be available for stall stocking on Wednesday 16th October and destocking after trading on Friday 18th and morning of Saturday 19th October.
Overnight accommodation is available for stallholders at Nailcote Hall at a special 'Stallholder' Rate with use of the hotel's facilities for one or more nights. Please select the "Overnight Accommodation Information Request" checkbox on the application form to receive information on accommodation at the 'Stallholder' Rate. Note that overnight 'Stalholder' accommodation is restricted to 30 Rooms maximum; bookings must be made directly with the hotel in the method they specify and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
A list of alternative nearby accommodation including, hotels, b&bs and caravan/camping will also be provided.
Site security (including overnight security) is provided throughout the site for the duration of the event.
Full catering facilities are available at reasonable cost from early to late with an "order-by-text, deliver-to-stall" service available to stallholders during opening hours. Complimentary tea and coffee is available to stallholders within the trading area.
Customer Catering and Facilities
Shopper catering is available throughout the event and indeed is one of its major features. Nailcote Hall is a renowned location for morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas as well as providing full restaurant service in its Oak Room Restaurant. Nailcote Hall's Spa and Golf facilities will remain open throughout the event as they attract many visitors who are also likely to wish to visit the fair.
The site is fully accessible to people with a disability and we will additionally endeavour to assist any stallholder who has specific requirements related to a disability.
